Dr Nathan Akmens


BSc. (Chiro), B. Chiro


Helping the body perform at its best is the foundation of Nat’s chiropractic care. His proactive, personalised and functional approach is designed to help people feel better – and move better – for life. Since graduating in 2010 from Murdoch University, Perth, Nat has continued to build on his passions in the field, undertaking additional training in international sports chiropractic (ICCSP – FICS), holistic health practices (HLC 2 – CHEK Institute), movement assessment, paediatrics – family care, and ELDOA – myofascial stretching (Guy Voyer).


Nat combines a whole body perspective with a variety of hands-on treatment techniques and movement strategies to achieve the best patient-centred outcomes. Modalities he utilises include: spinal and extremity adjusting, dry needling, Graston Technique, FAKTR, and additional soft tissue/fascial techniques. Outside the clinic you will find Nat surfing, in the yoga studio or on a trail enjoying the best of nature.


Dr Brigette Mackie


BSc. (Chiro), B. Chiro


Brigette graduated from RMIT University in 2020 and has been practicing in Melbourne. She is very excited to be back in her hometown, Adelaide.


Brigette is also a certified mat and reformer Pilates instructor and incorporates aspects of her knowledge into treatment along with manual and low force adjustments, mobilisations, soft tissue therapy and exercise prescription.


In her downtime Brigette enjoys walking along the beach, keeping active and spending time with friends and family.

Phebe Whitelaw 
Physio (BPhysio Hons) 

Phebe graduated from Uni SA with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2021, undergoing 40 weeks of hands-on clinical experience throughout her study. Phebe also works as a Sports Trainer in the Amateur Football League since 2019. 


Phebe is passionate about holistic health and wellness, injury management and helping people achieve their individual goals. Phebe uses a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription and also has her certificate in dry needling. 


Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Phebe circuit training at F45, at the beach or occasionally trekking to her home town Broken Hill to visit friends and family.

Jordyn Heidt

Jordyn harnesses her skills in; Deep tissue, Trigger point therapy, Sports massage & Myofascial Cupping, with a holistic & individually tailored approach to bodywork.


Passionate about all things Pregnancy Massage, Jordyn welcomes treatment throughout each stage of the Pregnancy journey and beyond! Jordyn is focused on continued development in this area for best practice in the field.

If Jordyn isn’t in the Clinic, you can find her hanging with her dog ‘Goose’, or sinking her teeth into a true crime doco/book!


Nathan Ward

Nathan is a holistic remedial therapist, who a has patient centred focus. He specialises in dry needling, cupping, rockblades, theragun, myofascial release and sinus drainage.

His clinical career has spanned over 14 years, dealing with all your soft tissue needs. Nathan currently works in elite sport with Redbacks and Strikers cricket teams.

Nathan enjoys keeping fit with attending the gym regularly and loves to watch live sport.

Nathan is also currently completing a Master of Physiotherapy at Flinders University.


Vicki Patterson

Vicki has over 20 years experience in the health care industry and in 2008 added to this knowledge base completing a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Diploma of Sports Massage Therapy at the Natural Health Academy in Adelaide.

Vicki employs a large variety of Remedial, Soft Tissue, Dry Needling and Cupping techniques to allow her to tailor all treatments to suit each individual clients needs.

Vicki continued to give back to the profession working as a tutor in RMT at Endevour College.

Outside the clinic Vicki enjoys Running and spending time with her Husky Dog, ‘Murphy’.


Dr Adam Floreani / Director


BSc. (Chiro), B. Chiro, ICCSP, ASCA 1


Adam graduated from Murdoch University, Perth in 2010 where he received the Sports Chiropractic Graduate Award.

Adam is now the Sports Chiropractic Australia Vice President, which has enabled him to work with international sporting teams and events.

Adam continues to have a special interest on sports injury prevention, management & rehabilitation, but also loves family care.

Outside of the Clinic, you will find Adam playing football, doing Cross Fit or spending time with his Wife Ella & Daughters Zoe & Lucy.


Dr Jack Bridgland

Jack graduated from Murdoch University in Perth, WA, where he was awarded ‘Student Clinician of the Year’, amongst his graduating class. He has a big passion for performance; with an aim to assist athletes and everyday people out of pain and into optimum function and health.

Jack utilizes a range of techniques individualised for the patients goals; including adjustments, mobilisations, soft tissue therapy, stretching/mobility routines, dry needling, Myofascial cupping and exercise/rehab prescription.

Outside of the clinic, you will find Jack playing football, at the beach, in the gym or spending time with friends and family.


Hayley Openshaw


B. Pod


Hayley graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2014. Since then, she has been lucky enough to travel with her work, living in places like London and Melbourne. She has since returned to her home roots, Adelaide, where she’s continued to grow as a podiatrist.

Hayley takes a special interest in sports podiatry and follows the forever changing world of running shoe technology. She is skilled in biomechanical assessments, footwear prescription, orthotic therapy, exercise prescription and manual therapy (including dry needling).

Hayley is passionate about injury prevention and functional movement outcomes to ensure her clients are experiencing the most of life!

Behind the scenes, Hayley trains with an elite all-girls sprint squad (Atalanta Athletics Adelaide) for state and national events within professional sprinting and surf lifesaving.


Veronica Sa Rocha

Veronica is very enthusiastic about natural therapies & is fascinated with mind & body connection.


Since becoming a Remedial Massage Therapist, Veronica started to see massage therapy as a vital component in a holistic approach to a patient’s health. Therefore, Veronica doesn’t just treat the concerned area, but will integrate her treatment to all different parts of your body to help get long-term improvements.


Veronica is fascinated by connective tissue called fascia & therefore intends on studying Structural Integration and Exercise Therapy. This will help allow her clients to live a pain-free life, but also to get the most of their body movements and fluidity.


Ross Simpson

Ross specialises in Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Recovery and Game Ready.

He absolutely loves music!! Listening to it, making it and playing it. You would also find him enjoying a good book…. Or 10!

Ross also has a Bachelor of Music, specialising in Jazz Bass and is also currently studying a Bachelor in Physiotherapy at UniSA.


Michael Sobol

Mike has over 15 years experience in the industry.

He has work with elite sporting teams such as the Adelaide Strikers, Red Backs and Port Adelaide FC.

Amongst his Remedial skill set, Mike also uses techniques such as; Dry Needling & Myofascial Cupping.

Outside of the clinic, Mike is busy chasing around his 4 children!


Chris Maslen

Chris uses his skills in sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial cupping and trigger point therapy to help you achieve your goals – whatever they may be!


Chris believes in being actively engaged with each and every client and showing empathy around their care. Having a long history of sporting injuries and managing his own chronic pain he has a deeper understanding of what you may be going through and what its going to take to get back to performing at your best.


When Chris isn’t in the clinic, he’ll be spending time with his partner, chasing around after his 2 young boys, watching far too much sport, and working for the Adelaide Crows as a massage therapist and sports trainer.
