Pilates
Ellie Peake is bringing Pilates to Bayside in May 2025!
Pilates is a powerful tool for both recovery and performance. It helps improve core strength, flexibility, balance, and body awareness—key elements for injury prevention and enhanced athletic performance. Whether you're bouncing back from a setback or looking to boost your game, Pilates supports your body every step of the way.

Yoga
Yoga classes at Bayside offer stretches for all levels, from beginners to seasoned yogis. Our instructor and receptionist, Emily, ensures every class is inclusive and rewarding.
Yoga is an effective tool for sports recovery, offering both physical and mental benefits. It enhances flexibility, mobility, and circulation—key factors in reducing muscle soreness and speeding up recovery. By promoting gentle, active movement, yoga supports the body without adding stress, while improving balance, stability, and overall movement efficiency. It also encourages mindfulness and relaxation, helping athletes manage stress and recover more completely.
New Podiatrist: Brooke Hand
Brooke Hand is now available to be booked online or via our reception (8376 2000), she will be in clinic every Friday from 1pm - 6pm as of May 2nd!


Normatec
Normatec recovery boots are an awesome recovery tool for enhancing muscle recovery and performance. Using dynamic air compression, they can help increase circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and speed up recovery time whether you are an elite athlete or everyday hero.

Dr Alysha Nuske’s Lamington Protein Bliss Ball Recipe
Ingredients
500g pitted dates, soaked in boiling water to soften
1 jar cashew butter
1 cup dessicated coconut (extra for rolling)
4 tablespoons of cacao powder
1 scoop of choc protein powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Remove pits from dates & soak in hot water to soften. Place half of the dates in a blender at a time, and blend until paste-consistency. In a bowl (or can also be done in a blender), add all the ingredients until well combined. Roll into golf ball-sized balls & roll in coconut. Pop in the fridge/freezer to firm up & enjoy!
